Fun with hats!

I was out shopping for picture frames at an arts & crafts store and the kids saw these hats.
We had a little "photo op" when we got home.

He did it!!!!!!!

Yea, Daddy!!!! Kevin and a friend from work got our swingset up! (Thank you Jonathon!!!!) This morning after breakfast I took the kids out to their new "playground" in our backyard. The landscaping isn't started yet but we can play on it and I couldn't be happier. This is so much easier than loading the kids up and driving to the park. They had such a good time today. (So did their Mommy). Jackson did very well scaling the rock wall / ladder. Izzie got the hang of it as well she just never got up to the speed of her brother. He is much, much more physical than she is.

I still want to get a sandbox and some "toddler swings" because they are still a little small for the regular swings. And I would love to get them a playhouse. I'm planning on having their birthday party here so I would like to make everything pretty and have a ton of stuff to play with and on.

(Kevin, my sweet husband, you did a great job! Thank you!!)

I'm trying something different with the pictures so enjoy!

These were taken on Father's Day at our house. The kids kept us laughing all day!

The grin on Jackson's face cracks me up-

Happy Father's Day!

This Father's Day Kevin and I had a few family members over to our house for a little wine and food. Kevin's parents, my Dad and his fiance, my brother, his wife and daughter came over that afternoon. My sweet husband got up and did some yard work that morning. Thank you Kevin! (It was getting pretty bad or I wouldn't have encouraged physical labor on his day :-)
We all had a good time, especially the kids. They kept us laughing all day.
Later that night we went over to wish Charles (aka Papa) a Happy Father's Day and to see my Mom. We sat around and talked and played with the kids. Very relaxing day!
I love all the Dad's in my life - I hope you all had a wonderful day!

A day at the museum

O.K, so we're not talking the Metropolitan Museum of Art but this was fantastic! The kids had a great time.
I received a tip about a children's "hands on" museum and it was only about a 45 minute drive so me & the kids along with my brother, wife and daughter headed out this past Saturday to check it out. My only complaint is that 45 minute drive I mentioned.
This is a lot of pictures but I wanted you to see everything the kids got to do.
