Pumpkin Patch #2

We have had our Daddy home with us for 2 beautiful Saturday's in a row! Being in the restaurant business requires lots of week-end work so these last 2 week-ends have been really special for us. Because we had such an amazing time last Saturday at the pumpkin patch, I wanted to try another one. My Mom and Ella were up for it and we met up with my cousin Jenny Lou, her husband Chris and their beautiful daughter Mary Evelyn. It was a gorgeous, cool fall day (the coolest of the season - so far). This pumpkin patch was much more "relaxed" and didn't have as much to keep the kids entertained so we didn't stay very long. But still a really nice way to spend a Saturday.
While we were on our way out we were approached by a couple who asked if we were with the "FCC" group. It took only a minute to process (especially after seeing their beautiful kids) that they were with a group of families who had adopted from China. It's always so nice to meet people who have gone through the process of international adoption even if it's not the same country from which you adopted. It's an instant bond. They invited us to participate with their China festivies and to get together in playgroups. I love playdates!!!! We gave them our e-mail addresses and I'm really looking forward to starting some new friendships. They said Chinese New Year was lots of fun!
Here's the photo journal from today-
