Our Christmas Day

I think I can honestly day that there is just nothing in the world more special than Christmas morning with toddlers. I was so excited as I had imagined this morning in my head and how it would play out. I had just bought a new video camera and I wanted to record them walking down the hallway in the morning all smiles in their matching p.j.'s. Jackson woke up first (they had both slept in their Gingerbread shirts from GanGan's house the night before) and I changed his diaper but he wanted NOTHING to do with his adorable p.j.'s. I didn't want him to get to see what Santa had brought them without Isabel so we held them hostage in our room until they were both awake (and until they both had on the p.j.'s). He did finally agree to take off the now favorite sleep shirt so I was ready for video. I have not seen my Christmas movie yet as I have not had the time to read the book on how to upload the damn thing to my laptop but you will know as soon as I do! For now, my "not so great" still shots will have to do.
Later in the morning Kevin's parents came over to open gifts and to have our Christmas lunch. It was a truly beautiful day!!!!!

Hey! Susan Ward here... Steve's wife... Steve told me about your blog from facebook (apparently Kevin and Steve are friends)... Love that now I can see these two precious kids more often than once a year with your Christmas card! Hope you are having a happy new year!
