A Snow Day (in the South!)

Living in the South we just don't see much snow so when it does actually it's really special. We just had the most snow we have seen since like 1992 and it was beautiful! Isabel woke up first and stared outside for a minute. First she asked if Santa Claus was coming, next she inquired about the penguins and finally asked about Frosty the Snowman. I told her she might see a snowman but not to get her hopes up about Santa or any penguins. :)
We went to church at 9:30 and then rushed home to build a snowman. It's great we didn't wait because the sun came out around 1 o'clock and melted most of our pretty snow away. It was really beautiful while it lasted.
Jackson loved the snow and Isabel liked it for about 15 minutes and until she got cold. Mom hung around after church for a little while and played with us outside. What a difference a week makes. Last week-end we were running around the zoo and now we're trying to build a snowman. Crazy.
